Amber Whittington-Jones is dying of cancer. In her last days she writes a series of letters to her son and husband, explaining her actions and begging for forgiveness. Late one night she is rushed to hospital, having slipped and fallen in the bathroom, and in the confusion that follows her admission someone – her lover, her husband, her son – silences her forever.
