Significant parts of the Curriculum will be new to many teachers. The Teacher’s Guide contains additional enrichment material to help gain the necessary background and understanding that will enable one to teach the required content with confidence. This series is beautifully illustrated with pictures, diagrams and professionally taken photographs, all relevant to the topic. This will assist learners in understanding the text, even when studying in a Language of Learning and Teaching (LoLT) that may not be their home language. Summaries and Question Time at the end of chapters will assist in cementing content knowledge and provides a measure of successful learner understanding. There are more than 300 questions in the Learner Books (series), with answers in the Teacher’s Guide. There are also mid-year and year-end practise exercises to help learners prepare for school-based examinations. The memoranda are in the Teacher’s Guides. This series raises the bar by providing enrichment material around the topic. In addition, the Teacher’s Guide has more than 600 questions in the series Question Banks. These have been graded according to cognitive levels and represent a range of assessment styles. Answers, of course, are provided for each of these.
