Seasons In The Sun

Teach science and language arts at the same time! What Are Seasons, Spring Weather, Spring Clothing, Summer Weather, Summer Clothing, Fall Weather, Fall Clothing, Winter Weather, Winter Clothing, and Animals are the lesson topics for two weeks of seasonal fun and learning. Lessons are specifically designed to nurture children who are beginning to emerge as readers and writers. The highly structured, simple to use unit focuses on building children’s sight word vocabulary and introduces them to writing in complete (but simple) sentences. Activities include Seasons group and individual word cards, spelling lists, match game and evaluation. This Holidays unit provides a teacher and student section with a variety of lessons, activities, crossword and word search to create a well-rounded lesson plan.
