Is it assault if it was your oldest childhood friend?
Fiadh has left her family and friends behind in Belfast to study in Liverpool. Settling into a new city and a new life is more difficult than she imagined. Feeling homesick, she flies home for Christmas but things have changed. Her friends are acting strange, her family isn’t the same, or is it her? On a night out she is assaulted by her childhood friend, Andy. Her other friends are happy for her. Sure, it was only a matter of time before they got together. But Fiadh can barely remember the night. She returns to Liverpool and without the support of the tightknit network she grew up with, quickly descends into a self-destructive spiral that nearly costs her everything.
