Big Books For Fall

Big Books For Fall is a delightful collection of patterns and text to make three books: “If I Were an Apple”, “Turkey Tales”, and “School Today!”. This easy and fun resource includes patterns and text so students can assemble their own big books. A follow-up discussion and activities are included after each big book assembly, including a survey, discussion of how children in different countries go to school, finding all the turkey feathers, and writing the lines of the Mother Goose rhyme on sentence strips. This Holidays lesson provides a teacher and student section with reading passages, and big book assembly to create a well-rounded lesson plan.
