Discover the workings of old school Hi-Fidelity stereo equipment such as Turntables, Cassette Players, and Compact Discs. Students also look at the workings of AM and FM radio. Innovative assignments stress creative and critical thinking with many possibilities for drama in this unit. The major project concludes the unit with students acting as radio D.J.’s and write a fifteen-minute script on news, weather, sports, songs or commercials. Students will also be able to design a personal custom sound system along with designing a custom electric guitar. This fun Music lesson provides a teacher and student section with a variety of reading passages, activities, crossword, word search, exam and answer key to create a well-rounded lesson plan.
